I wonder would the people of Gaza be being so disgracefully treated if the USSR and the other socialist countries were still around...I know the socialist system collapsed due to many internal problems, but there was also a concerted effort to subvert and destroy socialism from the very first days of the ussr which certainly contributed to its demise, not least through a crippling arms race...I for one regret the passing of soviet power..
