I don't want to indluge in gossip about John Foster, who cares what "faction" he belonged to, or who he slept with (that is really what you are getting at, nudge, nudge, wink, wink). What I will say is this:
John Foster worked damn hard not only to reestablish the Communist Party in Scotland (faced with a membership that was largely very, very loyal to the leadership). And he worked bloody hard (alonsgide comrades including Andrew Clark, Charles Woolfson, Craig Dunbar, Alan MacKinnon and Liz Elkind) to keep the CPB going in Scotland in the early 1990s when many other comrades simply packed up and walked away, as the revolution was no longer just around the corner, courtesy of the Soviet Union.
Examine your own record before you start slinging mud at comrades such as John Foster.
