I didn't realize just how rare these pellets were until I spoke with Bob Holtzman (Crosman's historian at the time) at Baldwinsville a few years back. They were produced only at the Dunnville (Canada) plant. Bob had heard of them, but had never actually seen them, and at the time, even the Crosman factory museum did not have any specimens of them. They were referred to as the "Gold Match Pellet" and were reputedly electroplated with a very minimal actual gold content. They remain shiny and bright to this day
