Sheridan stock differences, old vs. new

Maybe it's just me Dave, but the Blue looks like it has a taller stock, than the silver. Were there any differences in wood design from one model to the next? D

The earlier guns had a higher comb. Before 1959 the top of the comb was 1 1/8" below the barrel. After 1959 the comb was 1 1/2" inches below the barrel. The fore-arm is different also. If you look carefully the fore-arm on the 1953-54 model is a lot slimmer and is tapered down the end, where the 1960 gun is more blocky. Later guns had even wider fore-arms.
