Sheridan bolt removal

Here's what you need to make (I got all parts at my local Ace Hardware for less than $2). It's pretty much what Lawrie described, a 1/8 hex-drive set screw 1" long, a wing-nut for leverage, and a jam nut to secure the wing nut.

Easy as pie.
