Anyone care to comment on wood or metal finishes that have worked well for them? How about the finish on the brass barrels, any secrets? Thanks

Brass black from birchwoodcasy works... May 19 2005, 5:43 PM


bronze patina chemical from an art supply does also. Clean clean clean,block sand (fitted/shaped blue insulation foam)up to about 400 wet. rub in with grey or white scotchbrite. Plan on doing it a couple times to get it right.
