Yesterday, as I combed out my hair before washing I realised just how extremely thin it looks. It's totally see through all the way around and especially around my temples where it's basically no hair at all.
I got so depressed I started thinking of cutting it all off but then I remembered something someone (can't remember who it was) over at LHL said "...if you cut it off it will only be short thin hair instead of long thin hair..." (or something like that, don't remember the exact words). And it's so true. What ever way you put it I will have more hair if it's long than if it's short. And as to people who don't think you should have long hair at all when it's thin; Well it's my hair and I'll do what I want with it and if you don't like it then stop looking at me.
What got me really confused though was another thing: Since I've been shedding and shedding and shedding lately I have noticed my hair getting thinner and I wanted to know exactly how much thinner it was so I measuered the ponytail circumference. It came out to 5,5cm (guess I need to change my sig...). I know from earlier measurings that I was just below "normal" in Fia's hair typing system wich would mean that I was just under 5cm before. Then my hair as actually gotten thicker. But why does it feel thinner then? Am I just going crazy or what? I KNOW that my braid was thicker before but if my circumference was smaller it can't have been. *sigh*
Therefore I've now decided that I should measure the thickness as well as the length in the future. Maybe not every month but at least often enough to understand what's going on.
Ok, enough ranting for now. I'm going to try to google out some shedding stoppers. Neither MSM or extra B-vitamins have seemed to help so far.
