I had no growth what so ever this month and together with all my shedding I feel a little discouraged about my hair now. With it not getting longer and just getting thinner and thinner my dream hair seems to be very far away.

I've also noticed that though I don't consider my own hair to be long the approx. same length on other seem long to me. Maybe I'm just too harsh to myself.

I found a recipe for a less shedding oil mix on TLHC yesterday. I tried it but didn't feel any of the tingling that other people had experienced. I’m going to try applying it to my temples every day and see if it can help filling in my ugly hairline a little. It would be so nice to be able to slick all my hair back without looking like a man who’s going bald

I did a hot oil treatment (EVOO and honey) while taking a bath yesterday. I don’t see any difference from before and after except that my hair is still feeling oily. I guess my shampoo weren’t strong enough to remove all the oil in just one wash. The ends, however, are already starting to feel dry again so I don’t think this treatment will be a keeper :| Well, well at least I’ve tried it…

protein

October 15 2005, 3:11 PM

Extract from post about protein treatments:

Jehri Rhedding has a protein treatment that cost around $8. I have found that it is nearly identical to soy sauce which you can get much cheaper. And yes, I have done Soy Sauce treatments. The smell, well... not so good! LOL! Still, it works. You can also mix some Soy Sauce into your conditioner and apply that for extra protein. Protein is needed in hair that is weak, breaking, or just as a pick me up once in a while. So don't throw out those Chinese take out Soy Sauce packs, just mix them with a dab of conditioner and you'll have yourself a protein treatment!

For regular conditioners look for ones that contain Keratin, or actually list protein in them.

playing around

I've been playing around with photoshop this morning and made a picture of how my hair may look at tail-bone lenght. I don't think it will be this wavy unless I braid it but it's still fun to see.
