Yesterday was a very good day hairwise. For the first time I wore my hair pulled back to work. I generally don't leave my house like that because I think I look kind of stupid (more so than usual
) Well, I've noticed a lot of breakage from my updos and dicided to give the "pulled-back" style a try. I recieved one compliment on how good it suited me (from a man in his late fourties or early fifties, not the kind of person who usually compents on hair), one on how pretty the updo was (just a regular frensh braid) and one on how different my eyebrows (never thought of this myself) looked in that style. Besides the compliments my hair FELT great too. The clarifying treatment I made the night before and the light oiling of the ends left my hair clean, soft and very managable.
Also, when walking around at work I felt the on of the braid touching my elbow. This is the first time it has done that and my hair felt SO LONG. *yippie*
Since I don't like my hairline I haven't worn my hair pulled back before but I will do it more in the future. Hopefully that will reduce the damage too plus it gives me more styling options.
Today though, my hair is back to it's old, yucky boring self.
