Gary Oldman has foot surgery to fix old surfing injury

Gary Oldman is hobbling around Hollywood after taking time out of his hectic schedule to have long overdue surgery on his foot.
The Harry Potter star injured his right foot in a surfing accident on Hawaii five years ago but has never found the time to have it attended to properly.
So, after filming his role as Sirius Black in the upcoming movie Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and before he starts work on one of two new Batman films - as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Oldman decided to take time off to literally put his feet up.
Oldman's manager Douglas Urbanski says, "He felt it was the right time to have this surgery. His foot was getting more and more painful.

Yes, I have also "wondered about those two". This foot business is jolly surprising. He certainly never seemed the surfing type, maybe Mr. Urbanski got him hooked on it. They must be very close friends.
Unless I'm being VERY naive and you're suggesting something else entirely...I'd suggest you keep such lurid speculation to yourself unless you can provide photographic proof, in which case you will of course be honour-bound to present that proof to the members of this forum for examination.

Hey Leni, I don't think you should worry about this post I think it's just that weird British sense of humour that soetimes Gary has in his interviews - although he is funny. I hope you get well soon Gary, and it was a real nice message to the fans from his agent. Best wishes
Ai, misunderstandings senor! I was teasing! It's my weird English sense of humour, or possibly the fact that nobody can see over the internet that my eyebrow is raised and I am grinning.
I meant to imply, in the silliest possible sense, that (a) wouldn't it be rather adorable if there WAS something going on and (b) if there WERE photos, I am obviously a pervert so would want to see them...

I think some people have erroneously attributed "my poor gary I will pray for him" to Doug Urbanksi when I believe that was Laurie's two cents,
which should resolve it now......
surfing in Hawaii, man, I wonder if Gary had ever surfed before, I was in Hawaii for two days in 1988, stopover and man we were at just a little beach on the west coast of Oahu - I like to sit at the edge of the water and let the waves come and pound you, well this wasn't the kind of pound I had in mind, this was like a knock down drag em out and this was a time of year when the surf isn't too strong, I was disappointed, I wanted to see the Pipeline at the North Shore, now I know, December is optimal time for the Pipeline........anyway we all had bruised legs and after half an hour said, let's head for a calmer beach.......
