Mr and Mrs Oldman

Looking for Real Change here, people!  (no login)
from IP address 81.83.165.138

I wanted to check out the site of the Real Change Organisation so I typed in The Dark Side. Didn't know that the ol' chap had 1 too!

Look, I saw the pictures of the Potter premiere in the newspaper and I've heard that Gary did some hankie pankie with Uma Thurman. Well, got 1 thing to say: Mr Oldman seems like a nice enough bloke but he surely won't recognize a beautiful woman, even when she hangs with her fluttering tits in his bloody neck! Might I say: that blond anorexian chick from the picture is 1 hell of a bitch!!

Luckily his son knows a thing or 2 about women....

Keep up the good work, lil' Alfie!

Uma

June 30 2004, 3:27 AM

Gary and Uma were married once upon a time. On her web site, and I quote Uma about Gary, "he was my first love". Check it out, Uma is awesome! And a beautiful person! Uma and Quintin T. should hook up, they looked so cute together at the MTV Movie Awards.

Uma rules

June 30 2004, 3:05 PM

the woman gets better with age, can't believe she had 2 kids........I love/hate her! LOL

but I think Uma got a new love baby, a new love baby, some rich dude, hotel owner,

I just loved listening to old Ethan Whining about how much he loved Uma and he wanted her back and what a big mistake he made, and what is Ethan baby doing,
back filming in Canada with the woman that caused the break up in the first place, and I'm sorry she may be young but she's no Uma Thurman.........

well to quote Joni Mitchell, funny how it seems to go, you don't know what you got till it's gone!

but damn that male biological urge to spread the seed far and wide.......

I think that Uma Thurman was pretty in anunusual way when she was with Gary but age has done nothing for her, she looks pretty rough to me. Tha Alisa or whatever he name is must realize she's just an Uma-a-like but then again maybe she doesn't care - who knows what her true motives are i.e. money grabbing ex-wife of Mr. Oldman's, who know it night be love , who are we to comment we don't actually know these people!- she may be the sweetest person who walked the planet and we are judging her just because she's v. thin.

The seed

Soooo funny!

RE: Uma

I always thought of her as pretty, in an androgenously delicate way.

Saw her in a film about Henry Miller/Anais and I liked her acting. I have nothing else to say about her, really.

Really?

June 30 2004, 8:03 PM

I typed in "real change" and found lots of info on presidential canditates and there was a "dark side" link....however, the name of Gary Oldman does not show up that way. You must have REALLY been lookin' for some change.

Also, I may be one of the posters who come off as offensive at times, but you, sir, have taken the cake.

I am quite comfortable saying that referring to a minor's sex life is completely perverted. Alfie is the son of Gary Oldman, and the fact that you come here and make remarks to HIS liking/knowing about women really doesn't sit well.

It really is questionable. Would you understand?

Just ... whaaat?

June 30 2004, 8:19 PM

Occasional visitor here...bit confused...

I just HAD to write to ask what that first message, particularly the phrase "fluttering tits at his neck" is supposed to mean?!

How do you get your tits to flutter? Do you need surgery? Is it a spelling error or some weird mis-translation from another language or some new teen lingo I'm too old to grasp?

Seriously, I'm baffled: what did Real Change Etc actually MEAN by that message? If anyone can shed any light, I'm all ears...

sorry

I'm just as confused, good observation on the fluttering tits, perhaps medical science has developed a variation on the breast implant?

On behalf of guys everywhere, let me just say "fluttering tits" are "the stuff that dreams are made of".

Albeit the damper variation.

Seriously though, they do exist and are a sign of a rare and beautiful talent.

Thank you Mr. Spamlet

(Raises eyebrow, stifles giggle)

Well, now us ladies have one more thing to think about ... we already knew they had to be symmetrical, pert, plasticky, gravity-defying and visible-capillary-free, now they have to flutter too! Do you have to train them to flutter or do they make a brassiere that does it for you?

Cheers all...

re: Eva

July 1 2004, 1:48 PM

I think that was a bit touchy, I think Alfie by now must be 16 which in fact does make him legal if you want to be technical about it, although I don't think the original post was really trying to comment on his sex life, they just thought that the girl Alfie was with was a lot prettier than Gary's girlfriend, which is fair enough.

Ms. Lilac: oh they gotta bounce, baby, that won't change. It's Russ Meyer's world now, we just live in it.

What really bothered me, biology aside, about the original message, is just how tasteless it was. I sort of assumed that the posters here would be fans of Gary Oldman, the Actor, and it seems to me that calling his girlfriend a bitch (based on a photograph, for God's sake) is a slightly bizarre way to express that admiration.

I'm certainly not saying it shouldn't have been allowed - freedom of speech, y'all - but if the man doesn't exactly pursue a close relationship with his fans, after reading comments like that, you can't blame him, can you?

She's not a girlfriend

July 2 2004, 3:28 AM

she's a fiance (I read it from Gary's mouth in an interview, I'm not going to find the URL for all of you).

Grape fruit - people here are incredibly tasteless when it comes to Mr. Oldman's personal life. Mr. Oldman's manager has been scared away from a close relationship with fans because of such tastelessness.

i totally agree i think personally that it is unbearable...But i decided now to stop to answers to posts cause apparently it bothers some but i think it is necessary even if they are free to speak, to stay decent all the same and for some it is not the case.

Oops

July 2 2004, 9:32 AM

Thanks for the correction re: Girlfriend/Fiancee, IrmaVep.

There was a bit of a to-and-fro here recently about whether or not the word "fiancee" was from an interview translated from French and might not have been meant literally in-that-way so I didn't want to muddy the waters and thought "girlfriend" was safest - although of course it could easily have been taken as an insult, as in "Just a girlfriend, and therefore more trivial and less legitimate in some way than a wife".

Speaking as someone who has no intention of ever being a Wife, that is most definitely NOT what I meant! :) Love to all.

Re: She's not a girlfriend

for god's sake, it really annoys me that she's either a saint or a villain she may be the biggest bitch goinf and be with Gary for all the wrong reasons, she might be a nice person who really likes him- we don't know, but whoever she is *I'm sure she has faults like any other person so lets not cannonize her too quickly, who knows what the future may bring, sh may not bring him happiness, however she may and she might, we just don't know. Maybe we should kind of take a middle ground, even though he seemed happy in past relationships they weren't always rosy but this may be different and it might be great, so amybe we should just concerntrate on Mr. Oldman until there may be something to actually talk about involving her, because at the moment we know nothing about her

Well said, and certainly the most realistic ...

July 5 2004, 9:36 PM

Point of view. To be real, it's all a part of the job description (to a POINT), and considering all the continuing interest and free publicity it generates, I find it quite hard to believe that Doug finds it all that "unbearable". HE's just a busy man. If I were him, I'd be laughing my bum off at all the passion G-man generates among his fans, cause it is absolutely priceless to the publicity he needs to sustain his career. Managers live for this kinda stuff. I mean, really! Ya couldnt buy this stuff. It would cost Waaay too much. I really dont think Gary is too terribly oversensitive about this stuff. He came up the hard way and fought his way through the London and Hollywood scene (with alot of very important help , to be sure), he can handle it. He's tough. HE has his sensitive side, but he doesnt need us to criticize or defend him. (I'm bad about both, yep, a hypocrit , that's me!).
I'm just glad he's still in the biz, working away for my viewing enjoyment.
I am still curious about the work Gary had done to his face (if any), I mean, it's all very common and par for the course now, so why not share the info? It helps us to indentify with him even more. Besides, it's better than being "outed" by some of those devo paparatzi! Just curious.
