I drove RML2525 down to the Beith Transport Museum this morning as she will be undergoing a Class V MOT with our mechanic Lawrence carrying out pre-MOT work. I'm happy to report that the bus's owner has agreed in principal to permanently base her there, subject to him being happy with the monthly storage fees which are only £40. From a personal point of view, it's good to see our Routemaster population increase to seven. Before I left the museum, there was the pleasurable sight to behold of RMLs2486, 2677, 2525, 2553, 2271 and our 1952 London AEC Regal RF530 all parked up in a row. Anyone entering the premises really would think they were in a London Transport Garage.
