Hi guys I am new to this site, I am part of a group that wants to buy an RM or any other Routemaster for that matter to export to Australia. Any leads would be very helpful. Any bus we buy would be treated with the respect that an RM deserves! I used to work at X and then at GM (RA after that on the 11's) in the late eighties and early nineties, hence my sign in name ,as RM1103 was a particular favourite bus of mine to drive. Welcome to our forum and I hope you find it useful ..

There is already an RML out there on there on ' Gold Coast ' and another in the Sydney Transport museum [ At least it was there ] this latter has received some attention to its body and mechanics a couple of years back if memory serves me correctly .

Buying of RM's etc is not easy these days as all have been sold BUT occasionally some do appear on EBAY for stupid money with others far more realistically priced and probably needing some work being done to them ..

The choice and money available is yours to make ...... expect anything here for sale to start around £12,000 ish & requiring a lot of work ..
