My eight years old son is a Routemaster enthusiast. I've bought Routemaster Retrospective to give him some information but he has loads of questions I can't answer.

First of all, he wants to know the meaning of the following terms that appear in the book:

RMC, RMLC, OPO, OPO M.

Can anyone help, please?

Also, is there anywhere I can take him, other than the transport museum, where someone could answer all of his questions?

Thanks!

Be very carefull about how you treat your sons interest in Routemaster buses....a lot of us started off in this same innocent, curious way and ended up buying one!
OPO= one person operated.- a modern bus with no conductor.

Hi,
Try visiting a few events , there's lots of rallies with RM's present , most owners are helpful and will stop what they are doing to answer questions. Don't know where you are located but my RML will be at the Rushden cavalcade May bank hol weekend and Stoke Goldington steamrally 10th and 11th May , no doubt lots of other events will attract RM's in various parts of the country as well.
