I am able to supply "get me home" by pass plugs for RM's fitted with the CAV 551 automatic control panel.This plug will by-pass the automatic control and allow you to drive on semi-mode if you experience loss of control from the automatic panel.It will also allow you to select any gear whilst stationary which could be a handy diagnostic tool.The plug has been tried and tested on Cummins engined RM's but should also work on the Iveco variety,but I will also test this it as soon as possible.I expect the cost of the plugs to be @ £40 plus P & P; or I will wire up your own plug if you'd rather.Any interest?

That's a good price J&S want £80.00 plus VAT. These plugs are defenetly worth carring in your bus, I had problems with RML 902 a few weeks ago but had a plug with me & got home safe otherwise it would have been 35 miles in 2nd gear! Paul.

I will need to go back to the previous threads to reacquaint myself with what it does but yes please, add RML2315 to the list.

dave/rm349 would interested also too (his is manual but its always handy )

Looks like i'll have to clear my kitchen table and get my soldering iron out of my toolbox and miss eastenders for a week or two!Plugs shall be ordered next week,I expect to test the plug on an Iveco engined RM this weekend,meanwhile once I have checked on postage costs etc I'll let you all know the final cost inc P&P and where to send.No cheques will be cashed untill plugs are ready for dispatch.Thank you all for your interest and support

Tried the plug on an Iveco engined RML today and it worked o/k.Have yet to try it on a Scania engined version but will do as soon as poss,probably next weekend,will keep you posted.
