Anyone who went to the highly enjoyable Bow Garage ' BW ' open day event last Saturday 28th June will I'm sure join me in saying the effort by all staff and volunteer drivers performing the various duties on various Routemasters and other buses in service was a pleasure to see the whole show in operation . Regularity / loadings / safety / politeness / staff effort / sunshine and once again BOW is the ONLY BUS GARAGE in London to make an effort with such things as ' T ' shirts along with other small items of memorablilia asa reminder of the day .. Anyone who was at BOW for the last day of the 8's will remember that they had similar items for sale on the fateful day .
Well Done to all at the garage ..

Indeed I agree, it was superb. As was the Sunday 15 extras. I finished the day on RML2589 all the way to Blackwall Station. Magic !
One down point was the clown 'conducting' DM1052 who seemed to be getting off on being rude to any 'normal' passeneger who boarded, demanding to see valid tickets (it was a free service) and blaming an undercover policeman on board spying on him !
If anyone knows this guy, I suggest he needs help !!
