I don't know if I am the only one who is more than a little irritated with the introductory scenes on ITV's "London Tonight" news programme, it starts off brightly enough by showing some of the cities most famous landmarks,St.Pauls, the London Eye and Tower Bridge, why then do they have to ruin it by concluding the intro with a bloody Bendy Bus on the 12 route??? As I have posted earlier, Mayor Boris should be making his announcement on the new generation Routemaster tomorrow and hopefully when the first of the bendies will be withdrawn. I would like to suggest that some of you e-mail "London Tonight" tomorrow and ask that the bendy is replaced by a scene showing one of the Heritage Routemasters travelling along Trafalgar Square, preferably a 15h as they seem to have better loadings than the 9H. I would do it myself, but I will be out driving RML2271 again tomorrow evening. You could try this link: london@itvlocal.com
