Based on recent discussion, if anyone is interested in a good system for their bus a consideration might be the ProNav PNN-200 which came out last year. This just requires input of height-weight-width, and will give a multitude of information even truck stops, parking, fuel stations etc etc etc. It can be switched back to car use and will operate on either 12/24v. Maplins sell it at £199.99, good value for peace of mind when driving in an area you may not be familiar with. It is still sensible though to leave a copy of the Truckers Atlas on the bus at all times.

GARMIN satnav units, don't know if they all have this facility, have a switchable function for similar route navigation if using BUSES OR HIGH Vehicles.

I have the 'GARMIN NUVI 310' and it has the route identity function, never tried it though.
