It does seem a bit bizarre that a Routemaster, a product of nationalisation and state ownership, should be used to protest about the socialising of America's system of privately owned and run healthcare. The Americans have been responsible for lots of good things over the years, among them Fender guitars and Stevie Nicks but, having lived in Texas I can assure everybody that unless you can pay healthcare is woefully inadequate and excludes huge swathes of the population.
