I was amused to see the attached in my local paper.
The article is quite right in saying, "Passers-by were surprised to see this Routemaster bus with its destination blind for the closed Leas lift" as it never appeared with these blinds!!! We ran the bus with my usual Route number and "Supporting the Pilgrims Hospice" blinds. It appears the Leas Lift campaign digitally "faked" all the blinds (without my knowledge) on the image before sending it to the newspaper - it's amazing what technology can do!
Also, the caption says the bus was hired, whereas it was all a charitable effort on my part.
I'm not complaining, just amused.
