I stumbled across the site a few months ago and forgot to bookmark it. Then a few days ago I did a google search for an old baseball game and there it was again. This time with tons of pictures from the 2005 National in Chicago. The owner of the site must be a lurker here because I got an email from him today thanking me for posting a link here. He said he's gotten a ton of hits since I posted the link. With all those lurkers you would think this place would get more discussion.

I wish we had as much talk as the vintage card site. They really get after it over there. I could talk memorabilia all day.

The sportsantique site has, bar none, the best reviews of the National (three years running now) in publishing or the Internet. The site's owner uploads literally dozens of photos and provides a rich, detailed text of each item and his general experiences/impressions while there.

Excellenet stuff, and highly-appreciated.

Clinton: I don't think this forum can ever be as active as the VBC forum (we just have significantly fewer numbers of collectors), but I agree it should be more active than it currently is. I think we all need to take more initiative in both starting and responding to threads (I know I'm going to try to). I would tell people (and especially lurkers), don't be shy about posting. Sometimes just a couple responses can lead to a great discussion.
