I totally agree....his music hasn't quite saved my life yet but im sure its time will come. Pete is amazing, though I have heard he only likes friends to call him Pete so...Peter is amazing!!

I feel sorry for all of you on this forum. How can you not see that Peter is being a real prick lately. Im a fan of the Libertines and slightly Babyshambles but you people gotta stop worshipping him like an idol. 'Pete is amazing' im sorry but you have to wake up from your 'OMG Peter is amazing' fantasy and realise that he is fucked at the moment.

Man I agree with these people who say that he aint an idol. How can you love someone you've never met? He's amazingly talented and I like his music and that's as far as anyone sensible person would go. I've seen The Libertines live, I have their albums, singles, posters, badges, patches I am a really big fan yet I don't have to claim to love him . i'm so fucking sick of anyone saying they like peter being called a fangirl or an OMG PETE person. and i'm sick of people assuming that because someone says "thanks for the music, you were amazing at the gig" that they think Peter is god. no one in this thread said he was god, they said he makes amazing music, which is true.
i think some of you just like to feel above other people, so you come to a forum like this, see people expressing genuine emotion for peter and the libs/shambles music, and hit the reply button and try to sound like yr better than everyone else by saying "get off the bandwagon and put down the handbook". it doesn't make you clever to quote the words from a song.
stop assuming that because people love him and or appreciate his music, it means that they are unaware of his "problems". stop assuming that because someone says "your music saved my life" that it means they think he never does anything wrong.
