Did ne of u people know the lead singer of razorlight (Mr Johnny Borell) was a former libertine? he played bass 4 a while before he did 1 and went off 2 form rzrlight.

babyshambles new songs are just about as good as the libs classics, ill look forwards to seeing them perform at the leeds festival!!!!!

I feel that feel songs like tell the king, time 4 heroes, likely lads and cant stand me now define dohertys musical genius, If the songs, f forever and killamangiro are anything to go by babyshambles album is gonna be amazing.

If/When it gets released.

so...due to some understanding words from a few buddies on this site, i have decided to resurrect myself and ave another go at it with y'all. and i find no better place to start than with an intelligent post like the one Mr Sam posted. I agree on many levels and i have to say Tell the King has long been a favorite ofmine as well. there are some tracks on the new album that are pure genius. older ones, i am speaking about. i am looking forward to the 6 or 7 new ones pete is rumoured to have recorded for the new album. spongebob, i hope you are happy in my spelling of "rumoured." lol but i still say,Albion should be left off the album. it should only be recorded with carl, maybe and of course i am in fantasy land when i say this, maybe for a reunion single of sorts. i dont see them getting back together in the proper sense, but possibly just for a moment or two. long enough to record an old classic. either way, dont think i could stand it if i heard Albion without carl playing it with peter. it's rumoured Biggles album will be out by the end of the year. any news on that?

"I'll sing a sweeter song tomorrow."

I agree. If the boys can hold it together for the next 2 weeks and finish songs such as pipe down, loyalty song, 8 dead boys, in love with a feeling, gang of gin, my darling clementine and 32nd of december then the album has the potential to be as good as up the bracket, who knows maybe they could even top that.

I dunno if it'll be as good as Up The Bracket. Thats asking a lot, especially as when The Libertines did Up The Bracket, they were always together and the drugs werent so much of a problem, whereas the Babyshmables seem to be having many arguments and arent very reliable. Up The Bracket was a classic, I'll be suprised if they can top it, as The Libertines were just amazing.
