yes, I did pick a rose and looked at picture

I have done both things and fed the plant the pickles and the fish bones and gave the bird the bread. I can't pick up the pencil and I don't think there is anything more that I can do. Am I stuck already? Also, silly question, but how do I save the game? This looks like it will be fun. I really enjoyed the first three games. I played them with the children and we had lots of fun figuring out who to use on what to get to where we wanted to go.
