Evil under the sun will not change acts. I finally got the maid to talk and test the suspects. But the scene will not change. Does anyone know why

Sounds as if you might be hitting similar problems to me Joyce, is anyone else playing this game? I have given up. I replied to your first message but it hasn't appeared yet.

I am ready to give up, also. I hate not being able to finish a game, especially since they cost so much. LOL

You know there is a patch for this game which I downloaded, but I wonder if this new game has problems and that perhaps the makers might issue another patch? I emailed them twice but didn't get a reply.

This is great. They want you to buy the games but they won't tell yoou how to fix a problem. LOL

IIRC, The game itself does not divide into "acts" but into periods of time.

August 25th in the afternoon not late afternoon. This will not change from August the 25th morning.

How do I get this section to end? Here's a rundown of the necessary actions for this period. As always, you
can always check with the Finger of Suspicion if you can't find what you forgot.
* Talk to people in the hotel and learn about the murder.
* Go to the murder scene and find everything there is to find.
######## What is there to learn from the crime scene?
* Talk to Mrs. Castle at the registration desk to get a master key and go
through ALL the guest rooms.
######## What is there to find in the guest rooms?
* Talk to everyone on the island.
######## Who should I talk to about the murder?
* Get George to dive for you.
* Go to Leathercombe to test the items you've picked up.
######## What should I test at the chemist's shop?
* Send two telegrams from the post office.
* Get a compass from Blatt in the pub.
* Talk to Weston about your findings.
* Give the jar of bath salts to Gladys and ask her to open it.
######## Who should I ask to open the jar?

I did all of this. In fact I did all of this twice. I guess I could go for a third time. LOL I never have figured out what that finger does. It never made sense to me with what it said. lol
