No question about it. There's no way that Fight is in the lead. It's just not that good. Sorry, I can easily say that my own shouldn't be in the lead either... and I'd have to think long about that seriously (I played the music myself and didn't use any Beatles or Beastie Boys clips). The songs "Taxgirls" and "Ode 2 Todd" show the most talent, musicality and spirit of the contest. Having now listened to all the songs with 30 or more votes I've gotta say that this contest isn't fair if Fight wins.
I seriously considered bumping my own song by cheating but I didn't because I'm not a jerk. If I wanted a guitar that much I'd just go over to Guitar Center and just put the money down.
How about you bands vote for the winner instead? You guys can definitely judge a tecnically and artistically good song while the other voting can be for Odd Todd fans (they would then pick the winner for the guitar). I know you guys aren't in this for the guitar but rather for demonstrating awesome talent and I definitely enjoyed all the cool music. I would just like to say thanks to all of you guys for submitting your songs.
