| Maybe what we should do is have all the contestants vote, with the only stipulation (besides one vote a piece), being you can't vote for your own song. It would be a finite and trackable vote count, it would clear this whole mess up, and would truly be a judgment by peers. |

Dude, you are completely ignorant of the workings of the Internet. What you are suggesting is not possible. |

Here's how it goes:
1. All contestants find their I.P. address.
2. Mail that address to Todd with your name.
3. When sudden death time comes, everyone emails in their vote like so:
My name is:
My I.P. is:
My vote is (not my song):
21 contestants = 21 votes
Wrong I.P. = invalid vote
two votes from same person? Check the I.P. addresses.
There would be no reason or possibility to impersonate another voter, and no way to inflate the vote. Total votes to divide are 21.

You are completely ignorant of the workings of the *email*. Who says Todd has to use some webpage to track just 20 votes from people he already has the email addresses of? |

IF you're such a fucking brilliant I.T. guy then what's YOUR bright idea? No one voted via email, and the contest went sideways. Voting via email tracks the votes. I.P's are added security and verification. |

Actually I do have the I.Q. of a genius (as tested by Mensa) and have been working in the I.T. and software development areas over the last sixteen years. I email'd my "bright idea" to Todd and the guy who's attempting to prevent cheating at this time. Given that knowledge is power, it would be dumb for me to detail here exactly how I'd go about securing a vote like this.
I gave you a hard time earlier because you were slamming somebody else for being ignorant, all the while not really thinking about the problem yourself. It wasn't my intention to post anonymously earlier, all other times I just log in here and then post. |

You could take the top...what 4, songs (I believe there are 4 that have over 100 votes) and run those off in the sudden death. Have the votes e-mailed to tOdd to be tallied. Open it to a "public" vote or have the vote close to contestants only, either way, don't matter to me. Just tried to offer alternative... |

Over 200 votes might be a more likely run-off.
Hackers, not much time left! Keep voting!
Soem people have incresed their vote total an awful lot the past day or so. Hmmmm..... |
