I was trawling through the porn offerings online recently and it suddenly occurred to me that quite often a woman whom I think is an amateur having sex later turns out to be a professional porn star. It's a bit disapppointing sometimes because you've come to think of them as 'real'. Then I began to break it down further. Here's what I think:

First up, the majority of clips out there involve porn stars.

Secondly, like I said, so-called amateurs often turn out to be professionals.

Thirdly, just how much amateur material is there? I'm coming at this from a lover of Asian stuff, but I guess it applies across the races.

Of course, maybe some amateurs start out that way but subsequently get recruited professionally. The point is, given the millions upon millions of people online all over the globe, there is actually precious little 'genuine' (nonprofessional, noncommercial, unacted) stuff available. It makes me wonder... Are people just being shy? Do companies put the lock-down on amateur contributions? Do you have to get in with Yahoo or one of the other big search engines? Or could it be that there just are actually very, very, very, very few people who have anything to contribute; even fewer who know how to contribute; and fewer still who are willing to do so? Don't know...
