I have been told that the only way to get the Real Deal, as far as Kona coffee goes, is to buy direct from the estates or farms in Hawaii. I have also been told that the estates are slightly better since they have more complete control over the process, but I am thinking the coffee may not be as consistent from the smaller growers.
I have been using the following site as a guide: http://www.kona-coffee-council.com/
If you do a search, there are at least 20-30 farms and estates that sell whole beans (roasted) over the Internet.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these estates or farms?
