Hi everyone. I'm a senior history major at Quinnipiac University. I'm writing my thesis on Whitey Bulger/Irish Mafia in Boston. If anyone has any good primary sources (autobiographies, court documents, newspaper articles, memoirs, etc...) that could lead me in the right direction as I continue my research, I would greatly appreciate it. hey, if u r lookin up stuff on the irish mafia, u should read "black mass" and today in the boston herald there was an article on him {feb. 19th 06} its about new details on how he escaped, alot of stuff he wrote in his diary, from pages 4-5. also look up some stuff on the winter hill gang from somerville, MA. plus u should read up on how the irish came over here and started the ganges in the 1840's and 1860's with the dead rabbits, pug uglys, 40 thevies, tammney hall, ect... good luck man! much luv, from a little irish girl!
