I'm sure everyone gets tired of questions like this one but I have to know. I am sure that I have strong Irish blood from the stories my family told me growing up, but my father died while I was young. The funny thing is he grew up in North Boston and that area.. His last name was Sargent.. The funny thing is he had a brother named George who died in 1992 (possibly the snitch mentioned in a previous thread. So the question:
Is "Sargent" an Irish last name or it's variation "Saergeint", and if so are there anymore of my family members in the Boston area currently?? Please respond to this, and end my restlessness. Thanks.
