I've seen almost every city asking if there were any "Irish clubs" in their city. So I figured I would ask about Pittsburgh. Does anyone know of any "Clubs" in the Pittsburgh area?

As far as I am aware most of Pittsburgh is street gangs now, with the Pittsburgh LCN Family(LaRocca) on it's last legs with about a half dozen(maybe one or two more) made members and none of the other families(Cleveland, Any of the five NY Families, Philly or Jersey) moving in...I'd say Organized Crime in Pittsburgh is mostly a thing of the past.

i grew up in pitt. there is a "club" and are alive and well and quite large. but they are irish in origin not the italian everyone thinks of. works in their favor.

In Pat Nee's book 'A Criminal and an Irishman' he mentions how they travelled to Pittsburgh to collect arms and donations for the IRA from criminal gangs. He doesn't ellaborate more on this but it sounds like these may well be Irish mobs!
