| Anyone read the above-named book? It's about an Irishman from Queens who was a contract killer for the mob. He also had ties to the Westies.
He's also the only cat to break out of Attica. |

Ain't that the dude that shot Eddie Cummiskey in the head? I've looked for this book but couldn't find it anywhere....

Yep, that's the same guy. You can now buy the book on Amazon. His old lady Gail Sullivan sells it directly via Amazon. 20 bucks and it's yours. Enjoy. |

Another book featuring Mad Dog is-:
Contract Killer: Explosive Story of the Mafia's Most Notorious Hitman - Tony "The Greek" Frankos is another book that goes into the Greek's friendship not just with Mad Dog, but Coonan(who he claims he was offered money to wack) and yet another hitman called Sullivan, except the other Sullivan managed to fade into retirement with a little less limelight.
This is a good book if you want a detailed account of the 70's/80's New York
underworld. Also featured is the relationship behind bars between Irish and Italian who tend to stick together behind bars. reading LouisFerrante's book(Mafioso famed for turning Jewish) it's a tradition that still endures to this day. | |
