1989 Case:Jesse Jackson's half-brother states that the Irish Mob "Framed Him"July 15 2012 at 7:12 PM No score for this post | Matt (no login) |
| It sounds like a plot from the recent Fox Cop drama 'The Chicago Code' but in 1989 a famous case occured where Jesse Jackson's half-brother sensationally claimed that he had been the victim of a set up due to the fact that he had incurred the wrath of "the Irish Mob".
Sensationally he claimed that the Irish Mob in Chicago operates covertly under a cloak of legitimacy and though he refused to be drawn on what constituted this alleged 'Irish Mob' he did reveal that he believed that some members operated under the cloak of authority as police officers therin providing an even more menacing and sinister threat to the community than the El Rukn street gang members over 64 of whom were arrested for various offences as a result of repurcussions and fallout that were revealed in the aftermath of these revelations.
Another co-defendant of Robinson Freddie Sweeney was also arrested but turned evidence against Robinson, alleging that Robbinson paid the Irish mob enforcer $5,000 to kill Janice Rosemond who was a witness to the Irish mob slaying of street gang degenerate Le Roy Barber. |
