i remember seattle selling to the japanese investors (nintendo guys?) in the 90's. toronto's blue jays were owned by a belgian beer company for a while. some UK soccer teams are co-owned by US investors.
i'm increasingly convinced that everything in the world is owned by one of 5 main companies in some way, shape or form.
but it will be fun to say Creverand Cavariers.
