I wasn't aware of any Walmarts at the Oregon coast. Except our local paper wrote this week about a new Walmart coming to Warrenton (a suburb of Astoria, OR). Sounds as if it will be right across from Fred Meyer and near the new Costco. As usual, the Walmart will take business away from those other two great stores. Some cities in Oregon have sucessfully kept Walmart out by not giving them permits to build, but it sounds like the City Council in Warrenton thinks this is a good idea.
