I’m a Canadian. For my measuring needs I use inches and feet and I weigh myself in pounds. As a Canadian, I for one like Imperial measure.

There are those that will argue about it metric being in decimals.

I like the number if inches in a foot which is 12. Without using fractions 12 is divisible by 2, 3, 4, and 6.

Also Imperial units themselves can be decimalised. An example is 1/2 a foot. What’s wrong with it also being called .5 feet?

Between Metric and Imperial one is suitable for some things and the other is suitable for other things.

I believe that Metric is OK for science and medicine.

If a grocer wants to sell meat and produce by the pound, they should be allowed to do so.
