Vidar Watches- Are they a Swiss Brand? or Fake?

Do you know anything about (new) Vidar watches? How much are they? What store carries them- in the USA or in London. Also, if there are fakes out there- I have seen some for sale on ebay and the prices do not make sense- for the new ones. I am wondering if it is a scam of some kind- they say they are $1000 plus watches but sell for much much less- I am wondering if they are stolen of fakes. Could you buy one for 150 or $250 dollars(US)? I can not even determine if the company is real. My father may have been ripped off Thank you for any help you can provide
