a hearty sunday lunch

I'm used to asparagus being green, not yellow!

I had some with a chunk of pan fried halibut at a restaurant.

(I neglected to take a photo.)

the fish was good, but maybe not worth $15.95.

came with some tomato-flavoured rice as well.

the asparagus was mixed with some green beans,
which was confusing because they looked a bit similar.
I would rather have had just asparagus.

I've been spoiling myself with too many restaurant meals,
since I moved. I don't feel like going home. :b

the bus took me an hour to get home today (traffic jam.)

i cooked the asparagus in a yellowy stock that's why. white asparagus is as common as green over there. and green ones aren't as common as the white over here
