i prefer the very thin long beans as they have more flavour. this meal was just something i made up at the last minutes prior to dinner.

if you prefer them long and thin, why do you cut them so short?

back in New Brunswick my mother had a garden with beans and peas
and carrots and tomatoes. all so good when freshly picked.

can't possibly eat them as they are

ha.. I didn't mean eating the green beans raw.

but I did eat all the others raw.

after this discussion I went to my parents place for dinner
and my mother had cooked green beans that were about 8 inches long!

(I didn't feel like photographing them. we also had roasted
chicken quarters, and roast carrots were good.)
