I've been going to this pizza restaurant on Commercial Drive,
because my friend works there.

they have a wood-burning giant oven in the shape of a sun - with a face.

I looked inside the mouth of the sun and saw 8 or 9 pizzas in there.
I don't know how the pizza chef remembers which ones are in how long.
even though my first job after high school was pizza chef. :p
but our ovens only held 2 or 3 pizzas in each.

anyway, the pizza is good. thin crust, crispy and dry at the edges,
but nice and gooey in the center part. this particular one
(slice taken home from night before) has 'baking cheese' on it,
which tastes kind of milky, like cottage cheese.

do you ever eat pizza?

of course i did. i used to eat a lot of pizza.....before i found my gastronomic love supreme: exquisite French and/or Japanese cuisine! hahah.......

French and Japanese cuisine seem almost opposites to me!
