this is local food. really local...it's from around here in my area. in the old days this province was the poorest in the country [couldn't grow much stuff probably] they ate anything and everything. speaking of eating anything, a dutchie mate says when Bach and Goethe were writing their masterpieces people here didn't know a book existed but all they had were potatoes and 'zure zult'! zult is a local thingie...it's a fine paste of a boiled pig's head, probably along with its guts. i haven't had it but plan to try it one of these days.
