All those shells! I love the flavor they impart, but don't like the mess of peeling them after cooking. I guess I shouldn't complain as I don't have to deal with it every day.

Passed up live Maine lobsters at $14/lb. the other day. We didn't have a large enough cooler to get it home. I didn't want to deal with killing it either. Perhaps next time I'll call ahead and buy it steamed.

get a big cool box! i don't want to bother with small live crabs. they're too fiddly to clean after being cooked. i prefer prawns cooked in the shell. i'm good at peeling them.
