Dunno what Tuesday has to do with it, but okay!

Offering a soft laugh, Kaly patted him on the chest. "I think the only thing between Viper and I is respect for the other's accomplishments in our careers. She doesn't seem like the type to have many close friends, mainly for protection of her life and her career, which is perfectly understandable." She sighed. "That being said... since you happen to have gotten that close with her, invite her."

"What?"

"To the wedding. Extending an olive branch or something."

David's brow furrowed. "Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"She is your friend, isn't she?" Kaly replied, glancing up at him, and her matter-of-fact tone beckoned him to nod. "So invite her. That's what friends do, despite the possible issues."

"Yeah, but-"

"No buts. I'm not about to make you sacrifice having friends that mean the most to you at the wedding, hon."

And if the brunette female felt the friendship to be as close as David did, Kaly hoped she'd show. Or at least offer some sort of congratulations for him. Regardless of what they thought of her, whether in the positive or negative, the blonde bombshell wanted all of David's friends to help him celebrate, and that included ones she'd probably should fear rather than welcome.

As for her own friends... She'd send out invitations, and she was quite hopeful that most would make an effort to attend. The few she wasn't sure about, she could understand. So much had happened in the past, between them all in one way or another, that it might be too difficult to be civil to one another.

Funny that David had brought up Victoria. Of all the people she had wronged, Kaly had never been able to fix the friendship she had with that woman. First sleeping with her then-boyfriend, then taking a serious illness that had befallen the superstar and turning it into something ugly and destructive. Victoria Alexander had never forgiven her for all the wrong Kaly had done to her, and the Bad Girl couldn't remember the last time she had even seen this woman who had, at one time, been her very best friend.

Maybe she'd send an invite out to her as a peace offering. Someone in her circle of wrestling contacts should know where to reach her now...

Kaly mentally shook her head. It'd take so much more than simply that to even start trying to make amends. She'd bet she'd have better luck in getting Odin to give her away than repair anything with Victoria.

She almost snorted at the very idea. It'd be literally Hell on Earth before Kaly would ask the Norse god for anything of the sort. Especially when said deity would likely get Loki, the God of Mischief, to ruin the ceremony in the only way the Norse joker knew how, if not Odin himself causing some sort of destruction or catastrophe to keep the wedding from proceeding.

All other options of whom to ask to give her away were very slim. Adam Hawk had the honors last time, as he had been like a father to her the last several years. She highly doubted he'd do so again, not now that someone was claiming to be his dead son. She made a mental note to send her former in-laws an invitation anyway, mostly for Joshua's benefit of having his grandparents there. Who else could she ask, though?

The list was extremely small. Jax? Maybe. She doubted he'd leave Chicago again, though. It was a sacrifice on his part to attend the last one. She'd try to call him, either way. But after that... she drew blanks. Man Foo Tang, though she hadn't seen him in ages, was literally her best choice.

Not that she could see any reason to not ask him. Man Foo Tang had always been nice to her, despite everything. The history alone suggested a rocky line between enemies and friends. Really, the one thing that had brought them closer to friendship was David Constant. Both wanting the best for the man portraying MadDog Strangla, and not about to let him settle for less than what he deserved.

"Kaly?" David asked, a squeeze to her shoulder bringing her attention back to the present. His concern colored his face. "You alright?"

She smiled. "Fine, just thinking is all," she replied.

He chuckled. "That was a lot of thinking, then. It must be a record for how long you were quiet."

The blonde mockingly huffed, as if truly offended. "I'll have you know I can be quiet for much longer than you think."

"Please. You can't even be quiet when you're unconscious. You mumble when you sleep."

"I do not!"

David smirked, then let his voice draw into a higher pitch. "'Oh David... you hot hunk you... make me scream, David...'"

Kaly was giggling so hard, her ribs were beginning to protest, especially since she'd been laughing so much that day in just a short span of time. "You're such a liar!" she declared, a backhand hitting him against the shoulder. "You're terrible!"

The Texan merely joined in on her laughter. "How would you know?" he asked. "You're asleep when you say these things. I'm the unfortunate soul that has to hear them."

"I'm quite sure if, and that's an extreme if, I ever said that, you wouldn't call yourself unfortunate. You'd be all shades of cheeky the next morning and continuously taunting me with it."

He shrugged. "Well, now you'll never know, will you."

Sapphire eyes stared at him for a second, which was long enough for her to decide on one thing, her pouty lips breaking into a wry smile. Oh, she'd find out the truth eventually; she knew her curiosity would demand it. For the moment, however, she'd let it drop. There were more important matters to discuss that didn't center on what she might possibly say if truly talked in her sleep.

Leaning her head back on his shoulder, her arm secure around his stomach, Kaly stated, "You know, I think we should have Tang over one of these days, so I can ask him properly to give me away. It seems so impersonal otherwise. I want to be able to look him in the eye and ask something this important of him."
