"Well. He's neither. He's had a number of offers to go. No Mads or Death Valley have been the top two courting him. He wont leave. Not sure why. Some reason I don't force him to go. I guess it's out of some sort of. Friendship. Michael's past isn't exactly what one would call. Happy. He got moved around because no one wanted him. A lot. I took a liking to his willingness to stand up to me even though I wasn't officially in the club anymore but still had sway." Kade finished.
"So I guess he stayed because I stayed loyal to him. Just returning it I suppose. Even through all my bull shit he's seen me do and had done to him by me. He stayed. So he stays loyal to me, I stay loyal to him." Kade concluded. He had to admit. He was still a little befuddled by Michael being her first choice to discuss.
"About reading it earlier. It's fine. You were gonna read it anyway so no sweat there." He smiled. That still wasn't what made his brain go into wondering mode.
And while he understood the curiosity of Michael. That still was an odd first choice. Of course this was Sakkara after all. "Listen. This is your chance. Don't worry about the heavy stuff. Just. Ask." Kade spoke softly, but reassuringly. It wasn't every day he gave her free reign to ask whatever she wanted. Sakkara knew she had to take this chance.
