Rusty, If your going to attempt a rebuild i'd suggest you get a copy of Airgun Hobby Magazine.Vol.2 No 1[Jan. Feb.Mar.2005].There is a nice article by Peter Rutt,who is probably the best at rebuilding these fine air pistols.The article has pictures and directions for a rebuild.I'm pretty sure you can still get this back issue.Just Google Air Gun Hobby Magazine.Ejwills.
