Response to What are your favorite vintage air pistols?


No less an expert than Scott Pilkington has said that if he could only own one air pistol, the 65 is it. It's the one that can do absolutely everything you would ever need an air pistol to do, and do it in style.

The other ones I'd have a hard time giving up:

Hammerli Master--just the best CO2 cartridge gun ever, slim, elegant, beautiful
Beeman P1--IMHO the best non-match springer pistol ever made by a long shot
Webley Tempest--perfect handling, tough as an anvil, great power in a compact package
Webley Senior--the gun you frame, hang on the wall, and show the heathens, to illustrate what airgunning used to be!
