Response to Crosman 101 check valve leak and images
I would toss both of those check valves. They just do not do the job as well as the later style. The main difference with the later style is that it takes the full sized exhaust valve washer 121-7 I use the soft ones from Precision Pellet. There are variations of the valve nuts that take the large washer. One is 105-64 and the other 105-8. The one normally seen at service shops is the later 105-8. 105-8 is actually an exhaust valve nut but it works perfectly in the check valve position. I don't have a picture handy but will try and get something to show you, These parts are not included in the 101 parts drawings, because it is a later part.
