Response to Re: Some pics of my new HW55

It was twangy and low velocity. trigger group slathered in the original grease. The piston tiny compared with the HW35 piston.
Also the seal is mounted much differently. The leather cup was filled with an almost waxy, plasticy goop that I think was grease that had turned to wax. I dug it out gently and now have a leather cup with a small mounting screw and copper washer. Does anyone have a photo of a properly mounted leather piston seal. I've searched the forum and read the advice for various replacement washers, but no pics of seals, other than Mike's 55Burgo. The current spring is kinked, has a metal weihrauch guide and I was planning to get a new 55 spring and guide from Jim Maccari. The tube/cocking arm interface shows a little wear, so I'll put in Maccari's cocking lever inset. That said, is this the rifle i should button back up and send to paul watts for a proper tune?
