Airfierce, yes the cap is threaded however, when I try to turn it with just my fingers it does not want to move. I am hesitant about trying to turn it with more force for fear that I will end up breaking something. Maybe if I squirted some Kroil or WD40 around the threads it will loosed it enough to turn it by hand.
